About the Event

What Gen Z wants, Gen Z gets. This new generation of spenders is making their preferences and values known, and no retailer can ignore the power they increasingly wield. Whether it’s what they’re eating, drinking, or TikToking, retailers need to figure out how to keep up. Because any brand can make a statement—but not all brands know how to nail the message.

In The Checkout: Summer of Gen Z Forum, sponsored by Amazon Ads, we’re sitting down with Danielle Brown, the VP of marketing for cookies and crackers at Campbell Snacks to explore Gen Z’s evolving palate and identity. What are the most pressing questions around their (cookie) choices? And how is catering to Gen Z impacting the future of food and retail? In addition, we’ll be speaking with Claire Tassin, retail and e-commerce analyst at Morning Consult, to unpack Gen Z purchasing habits. But the snacks don’t end there. We’ll also be joined by Srishti Gupta, Director of Media Measurement for Amazon Ads for a conversation with Jessica Spaulding, CMO of PepsiCo Foods Canada.

For any director-level or above retail professionals eager to better understand how to connect with and keep up with the youths, this event is for you. Plus, we’re serving up in-person connections with snacks, Brew-style.

Our goal = your gain

The Checkout’s Summer of Gen Z Forum is designed to better inform your own retail strategy and business decisions. Key questions we’ll be asking:

  • What are Gen Z’s preferences and priorities, and how has that changed?
  • How do you effectively engage with social issues that align with Gen Z values?
  • How do you appeal to Gen Z, in person and online?
  • What have retailers learned about connecting with millennials that they’re taking with them as they cater to Gen Z?

Sounds cool, but who's going?

Are you a retail professional, director-level or above, located in NYC? Are you responsible for spend within your organization? Looking to network and connect with peers in the senior ranks of retail? We can’t wait to meet you—register below and join us on Wednesday, June 15!

This event has limited capacity and is designed for director-level and above retail professionals.
