The only things in this world with unlimited potential seem to be septuagenarian politicians and clothing rental services.

First, Rent the Runway said Tuesday it’s introducing a middle rack membership for customers who want more than one rental shipment per month but don’t post enough Instagrams to need Unlimited. It'll cost $135/month for members to swap rentals twice every 30 days.

Then, because Le Tote was flooded with so many limitless rental requests, it said yesterday it’s bringing back the Unlimited rental option it retired in 2018. For $79/month, Le Tote members can access unlimited rental packages with up to four items inside.

This could get tricky. The more clothing customers demand, the greater bandwidth rental logistics networks need to steam out sweat stains and resend items. And we know RTR and seamless logistics go together like PB&J and a peanut allergy.

But Le Tote watched and learned. It’s currently building a second distribution center to meet demand.
