How would you describe your job to someone who doesn’t work in retail? People send signals to companies all the time about what they want and how they want it. We help companies get quicker and smarter at picking up those signals and turning them into more relevant experiences.

One thing we can’t guess about your job from your LinkedIn profile? Whether I am in my office or at my home office, at 1:00, my calendar is blocked off for a nap.

What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on? Without a doubt, it is the launch of our insights accelerator tool, Illuminate. It fills a necessary void in the market by cultivating a culture of experimentation, curiosity, and insights generation for retailers. And best of all, it’s free forever.

Which emerging retail trend are you most excited about right now, and why? Definitely it is the progress being made to create a more seamless experience from offline to digital and vice versa. I like being able to make a purchase on my phone and pick it up in store. Or demo something in store and have it shipped to my house. Our life has always been digital and physical. I am happy that retailers are capitalizing on that complicated omnichannel relationship.

What’s your go-to coffee order? Black. Largest you got!

Worst piece of advice you’ve received? The worst piece of advice I have received is that hustle culture is worth it. It isn’t. We work very hard to build a culture that has teammates who do great work and lead well-balanced lives.

What was your favorite retail product when you were 15, and what’s your favorite retail product now? When I was 15, I was all about my Freestyle Shark Watch! I am so happy to see they are still around. My favorite retail product right now is a small business called Nutty Squad. They are super indulgent jarred peanut butters with mix-ins that are so addictive!
