While a CEO change at a certain bullseye-adorned retailer was August’s big headline, a number of retailers and brands had leadership switch-ups and even added new C-suite roles. These are the changes to know:

  • Target tapped COO Michael Fiddelke, a company vet with 20 years at the retailer, to be its next CEO, tasked with turnaround amid the retailer’s lackluster sales. He’ll replace its current chief Brian Cornell in February, who will then move to executive chair.
  • Poshmark founder Manisha Chandra is exiting his CEO role, with executive chair Namsun Kim taking over, while Chandra will remain as a member of the board of directors.
  • Valentino named Riccardo Bellini, managing director at parent company Mayhoola, as its next CEO, succeeding Jacopo Venturini, who left the fashion house earlier this month for “personal reasons.”
  • Procter & Gamble’s beauty division CEO R. Alex Keith is retiring on February 20, and Freddy Bharucha, president of global personal care at P&G, is set to assume the role.
  • Former Sephora President and CEO Martin Brok and former Amazon grocery exec Stephenie Landry joined Ulta Beauty’s board of directors.
  • Shopping center owner Simon Property Group promoted Eli Simon, its executive VP, chief investment officer and director, to COO, reporting to his father—chair, CEO, and president David Simon.
  • Wilson President and CEO Joe Dudy is leaving his role after 30 years with the sporting goods company. Andrew Page, CFO of parent Amer Sports, will fill in in the interim.
  • Discounter Save A Lot promoted its COO Bill Mayo to CEO as its current CEO Fred Boehler steps down.
  • Kohl’s brought on former Nike and J.Crew exec Steven Dee to serve as its new CTO, filling the role vacated by Siobhán McFeeney in April.
  • Levi appointed former Victoria’s Secret supply chain head Chris Callieri as its chief supply chain officer starting September 15. The role was created to replace the COO role following its former COO Liz O’Neill’s retirement in February.
  • Adore Me founder Morgan Hermand-Waiche will reportedly exit the company as parent Victoria’s Secret named exec Christine Vellani to lead the brand.
  • Lululemon added a new C-suite role, chief AI and technology officer, naming Ranju Das to the role.
  • The Vitamin Shoppe hired CPG vet Mike Forbes to fill its newly created chief strategy officer role.
